Remarkable Rindt - by Andrew Kitson
The 1970 Monaco Grand Prix produced one of the most dramatic finishes in the history of formula one. With 20 laps to go Jack Brabham had a lead of 14 seconds over Jochen Rindt. But Jochen reduced the deficit and started the final lap right behind Jack who made a mistake on the last corner of the last lap and Jochen took the win. This remarkable last lap also produced a new lap record for the Lotus driver.
